In my initial consultation, Dr Vellayan listened to everything I said. She gave excellent advice throughout my consultations and after my operation. After my operation she came to see me to check everything was well. From the start to the finish if I ever had a problem I could email her personally and she would get back to me as soon as she could (normally within 24hrs). Even after my follow-up consultation she advised if I needed advice to email her - this is very reassuring. Before deciding to see Dr Vellayan I carried out some research and found she had excellent reviews - she certainly didn't disappoint and I would certainly recommend her to anyone. 10/10 for all round care from Dr Vellayan.

Dr Vellayan immediately put me at ease. She showed compassion & understanding throughout my time as her patient. She is honest & empathetic, but most of all she listens! This may seem like a basic skill, however I have seen many specialists who do not & as a result I had been in pain for a lot longer than I should have been. I researched many gynaecologists before selecting her as my doctor, and reading these reviews helped me to decide she was the right doctor for me, this was only reinforced when I met her in person. I hope this review helps someone else who is in need of a brilliant, professional doctor, because she really is. She has literally given me my life back. I’ve never felt better & I am so glad I put my faith in her abilities. She’s a legend in my opinion & I can’t thank her enough.

From the initial consultation Dr Vellayan was very kind and understanding of my needs. I immediately felt I was in good hands and my anxieties surrounding the operation diminished. Alongside this, Dr Vellayan understood my desire to have a family. She was able to allay my fears, by explaining exactly what would happen in the operation. On the day of the operation, despite natural nerves, I felt comfortable in her hands. Her skills at laparoscopic surgery has meant that I have very little or no scarring, which has helped with my confidence post surgery. Thank you for all your help and support.
